Hi folks, Matt Smith here; long time no see! I think we’ve all been pretty occupied lately, but in anticipation of the release of Titan Masters Attack on May 29th, I wanted to share a deck to jumpstart your creative engines.
Today I focus on one of the most exciting new characters coming in Titan Masters Attack: Chromedome // Computer Programmer.
Chromedome has a quick disruptive ability when flipping to his body mode. Depending on how you leverage it, this kind of disruption can really turn the tide in a game.

This is an aggressive deck that plans to use Chromedome and Thundercracker’s hand disruption abilities to put the opponent off balance while you pressure them with solid attacks. Windcharger makes a perfect 7 here, attacking on the first turn then soaking damage. His bot mode ability can come in handy when you need to clutch a Thundercracker trigger or stack a Peace through Tyranny for extra attack, but part of what makes him good in the lineup is not using one of your flips. That said, Lionizer could also do well in this slot. Your expected metagame should help you choose between Kreb and Parsec. In general Parsec will make the stronger partner, but 15 health can be a magic number in an orange deck and if it means Chromedome survives another turn I’ll take it.
I sorted the battlecards a little strangely here. The first pool of cards is the disruption package, these support the game plan of obliterating the opponent’s hand. The second set is the black pip cards we are using to trigger Thundercracker, and the rest build up the attack and defense of the deck. You might be surprised how hard it is for your opponent to remove your Force Field while you are scrapping their hand so aggressively.
Typically, our game plan for the first turn is to flip Chromedome, then attack with Windcharger. Our second turn we flip and attack with Thundercracker.
Tips for playing the deck
If you plan to play a battle card that scraps from the opponent’s hand on the same turn you would use Chromedome, be sure to use the Chromedome first as the information you’ll gain will better inform which battle cards you should play for the turn.
Try to use your Supercharge/ Fight for Position/ Flamethrower on Thundercracker to better ensure you trigger his ability.
Rapid Ascent’s ability will only trigger when used on Thundercracker. You can overlay a second one onto him if you really need the scrap effect.
You’ll often want to save your ‘Last Stand’ for the very last attack of the game where its downside won’t matter.
Your opponent will likely know when you have Hijack facedown, so be sure to play it on a turn you flip Chromedome to alt mode. This way, if they decline to play a card draw action to avoid Hijack, you can use Chromedome to get rid of it on your turn. Even if Hijack doesn’t trigger, knowing your opponent won’t be able to get extra cards during their turn can be strong even in itself.
Thanks for checking out the deck, Next time we’ll talk about more defensive options for Chromedome. Stay safe and continue to share Titan Masters Attack decks online!
